Extrication needed for serious car accidentPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX - A bad car accident caused delays on Bell Road near 33rd Avenue on Thursday morning.
A white sedan and a red pickup truck were involved in the accident that completely blocked the eastbound lanes of Bell Road for the tail end of rush hour.
Reports indicate a 50-year-old man was in the white sedan. According to crews on scene, he suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The fire crews on scene called for extrication. Three ambulances were also called to the scene.
The driver of the red pickup was just shaken up.
No word on if anybody will be cited for the crash.
