Chandler police ask for public's help to ID bank robber

CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Chandler police are asking for the public's help to identify a bank robber.

Sgt. Joe Favazzo said a man entered the First Credit Union near Chandler Boulevard and Kyrene Road at approximately 11:30 a.m. on March 16 and passed a demand note to a teller. He fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

Favazzo said the suspect is being sought for additional bank robberies in Chandler and Scottsdale.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his mid-20s, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with short brown hair and thin sideburns that go to the bottom of his ears.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing dark sunglasses, a gray train conductor's-style hat, a gray long-sleeve sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a black glove on his left hand.
