Police investigating shooting in PhoenixPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – A man was shot in the arm in Phoenix but police do not yet have a motive or a suspect.
Officers say residents nearby heard the shooting victim shouting that he had been shot behind their house near 43rd Avenue and Pasadena Wednesday afternoon.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to his arm and is expected to survive his injury.
Police say the victim had a pellet gun in the waistband of his pants but they do not have reason to believe he shot himself.
The victim does not live in the area. Officers are now trying to identify the shooting suspect.
