Save-a-life Saturday success

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Organizers of the "Save a life Saturday" call the event a big success.

The American Red Cross estimate 10,000 people nationwide took advantage of free training in CPR and first aid.

The event was held to honor january 8 shooting survivor Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

About 1700 people in Southern Arizona received training.
