PHOENIX -- After a foggy morning around Arizona, Mother Nature will bring a cool, but mostly sunny Tuesday.
The Valley ended up with around 0.3 inch of rain Monday although Sky Harbor's official total of 0.06 inch was much less impressive.
The spring storm also brought snow to the high country, which is a nice treat for skiers. Flagstaff ended up with a total of 8 inches of snow, and Arizona Snowbowl got a whopping 23 inches.
While winds are much calmer today, yesterday's storm brought peak wind gusts of 61 mph in the high country. Gusty conditions in the deserts brought blowing dust before the rain arrived.
The rain showers ended by late Monday, but lingering moisture in the air meant drivers had to deal with patchy fog Tuesday morning.
Valley temperatures will peak around 67 degrees Tuesday as a ridge of high pressure moves into our region.
Temperatures will be warmer the rest of the week ahead, with sunshine and mid-70s likely for the upcoming weekend.
The southern end of a low pressure will bring breezy conditions and a chance of showers in the high country Saturday and Sunday, but the Valley should stay dry.
