TUCSON, Ariz. -- The intern credited with helping to save the life of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords after she was shot in the head urged everyone to take advantage of free life saving training this weekend.
Daniel Hernandez joined doctors from University Medical Center and others from Giffords' office Thursday to encourage people to attend "Gabrielle Giffords honorary Save-a-Life Saturday."
This weekend, the Red Cross will train people in first aid and hands only CPR at more than 100 locations across the U.S.
This weekend's training is free of charge to the public.
