PHOENIX – A high school teacher faces several charges for allegedly inappropriately touching at least three teen girls.

Police say Otis Magee, 54, took a 15-year-old family friend along with another girl to a fast food restaurant in December 2010. On the way home Magee allegedly touched the 15-year-old victim inappropriately over her clothes. The girl reportedly tried to get out of the car and Otis held her back by her shorts telling her he wanted a kiss.

The victim was able to get away from the suspect but did not report the incident to police right away.

During their investigation Phoenix detectives discovered Magee was involved in an incident in 2008 of inappropriate touching and comments involving a 17 and 18-year-old girl who were students at Precision High School at the time.

"All three of the victim were students down in south Phoenix," Phoenix Sgt. Tommy Thompson said. "This incident...these all occurred while the teacher was down teaching at that school where I understand he doesn't work at anymore."

Police say Magee made inappropriate comments to the girls and stroked their hair and backs. These alleged crimes in 2008 took place at the high school.

A third victim was listed in that police report but detectives were not able to locate her during this investigation.

Magee was arrested Thursday just before noon at Pinnacle High School where he was working as a substitute teacher.

None of the alleged crimes took place at Pinnacle High School nor did they involve any students at that school.

Magee is being held at a Maricopa County jail where he faces one count of sexual abuse, one count of kidnapping and two counts of assault.
