Warm St. Patty's Day, cooler by the weekend and next weekPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- With a forecast high of 89 degrees Thursday, it's going to be a tiny bit cooler than Wednesday's 91.
Wednesday was the first 90-degree day of the year. While we hit the 90-degree mark a couple of weeks earlier than usual, it was not a record.
While the cool-down is just a couple of degrees today, we're going to see more significant drops in our daytime highs over the next couple of days.
Plan on highs of 82 degrees Saturday and Sunday. We'll likely see some increasing clouds as the weekend goes on.
By Monday, which is the first full day of spring, we'll top out in the mid-70s. We'll also see a 30 percent chance of rain.
