PEORIA, Ariz. - Peoria police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect who used a rock to rob a gas station.
Around 4 a.m. on March 11, a man entered the gas station at 83rd Avenue and Bell Road with a large rock as a weapon. The suspect demanded some cash from the clerk and threatened to bash his head in if he didn't comply.
The clerk handed over a small amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot leaving the rock behind.
The clerk was not injured in the encounter.
The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 18 and 25, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing grey sweatpants, dark colors Check Taylor sneakers and a striped hooded sweatshirt with front pockets.
The suspect faces armed robbery and aggravated assault charges.
