TUCSON, Ariz. -- A hearing Wednesday for Safeway shooting suspect Jared Loughner, set for arraignment in Tucson on 49 federal counts.
The judge will also hear arguments on whether to release search warrants detailing what investigators took from Loughner's home.
Meanwhile, prosecutors on the case want the 22-year-old to submit to a mental evaluation to determine whether he's competent to stand trial.
Prior to the shooting, Loughner posting written ramblings and strange videos on-line that have some experts questioning his mental stability.
