TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Diamondbacks will take part in another benefit game at Kino Stadium later this month against the Dodgers.
It's set for March 25 at 1:05 P.M.
For tickets you can call the Kino Stadium box office at 434-1367. Proceeds for that game will benefit the Tucson Together Fund.
And this Thursday is the benefit concert for the Fund for Civility, Respect, and Understanding set up by wounded Giffords staffer Ron Barber. It's scheduled for 6 P.M. at the TCC arena.
Tickets start at $25.
The bill includes some big names: Jackson Brown, Alice Cooper, David Crosby and Graham Nash.
And a chain of convenience stores made a big purchase to help out the victims of the shooting.
Tucson area 7-Eleven stores bought 3,000 of the remember 1-8-11 wristbands created by students at Ironwood Ridge High School.
7-Eleven will be giving them away to customers who want to wear them and show support. You can get one starting tomorrow.
The money goes to the Tucson Together Fund.
