TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Defensive end Davon Coleman of Fort Scott Community College in Kansas has signed a letter of intent to play football for Arizona State.
A graduate of Glenville High School in Cleveland, Coleman will have three years of eligibility with the Sun Devils. Last year, as a redshirt freshman at Fort Scott, the 6-foot-3, 250-pound Coleman had 65 tackles, 8 1/2 tackles for loss, 2 1/2 sacks and one interception.
The signing, announced on Monday, makes Coleman the 19th recruit for coach Dennis Erickson and his staff this year.
