Neighbor saves Glendale family from house firePosted: Updated:
GLENDALE, Ariz. – A Glendale family of three might owe their lives to a neighbor after a fire tore through their home overnight.
It happened late Sunday night near 47th and Northern avenues.
According to fire officials, a neighbor jumped over a fence, went into the home and helped three people escape.
Fire crews believe the fire started in a second-floor master bedroom, but they are not sure what sparked it.
Firefighters were able to save most of the home, containing the worst of the damage to the second floor.
Early indications are that smoke detectors inside the home did not go off.
No injuries were reported.
