Chris Ciruli, Ciruli Brothers, LLC., says a pilot program aimed at clearing the air at the border, cutting freight costs of shippers and generating some money for the State has so far been a success.  Ciruli says the ADOT program raised the load weight limit for trucks to be closer that Mexico’s limits. He says that has reduced the need to off-load some of the produce and other goods in Mexican warehouses.   He says even with a 75-dollar permit fee, it still saves American truckers money.  He said the permit is only good within 35-mile radius of border.
