Shane Dille, Nogales City Manager, says Nogales gets a lot of sunshine and the City of Nogales is going to take advantage of that by being “smarter about energy.”  He says the Public works building is the site of the “Nogales Clean Energy Solar Project.”  He says through a $125,000 grant from the State Dept. of Commerce, solar panels are being attached to the building. He says the savings in energy costs will be about  $500 per month.
