Water bill adjustment for some Tucson Water customers; ACC to quiz officials about gas outagesPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tucson Water is offering another way for customers to contact the utility to reduce this month's water bill.
The cold snap in early February caused a lot of busted pipes; so, Tucson Water will offer to lower this month's bills to last year's level.
"We went back and looked at our financial situation and determined we would be able to offer some sort of adjustment for customers who would like an adjustment for an increase in water use during that same time,"
To take advantage of the offer, E-mail Tucson Water at firstname.lastname@example.org.
And the Arizona Corporation Commission will spend part of the day Wednesday quizzing utility officials about last month's gas outages in Southern Arizona.
Representatives from both Southwest Gas and El Paso Pipeline are scheduled to speak before the commission, and be quizzed about what happened.
Members of the public can speak as well. You just need to fill out a speaker card before the hearing starts.
