Get free pancakes at IHOP and help Arizona's sickest kids

PHOENIX – It’s National Pancake Day, and what better way to celebrate than with free flapjacks!

IHOP is where you want to be today.

As Yetta Gibson explained, you can get a free short stack at IHOP and help the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at the same time. It's all part of IHOP's National Pancake Day celebration. Last year, IHOP raised an amazing $2.1 million. This year’s goal is $2.3 million.

IHOP began its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006. Since then, the chain has raised $5.35 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities, and given away more than 10.1 million buttermilk pancakes.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals raises money for 170 children's hospitals across North America, which, in turn, use the money where it's needed the most. Children’s Miracle Network supports about 17 million kids and their families every year, including children right here in Arizona. Phoenix Children's Hospital is part of the network.

When you give a donation, the money stays in the community, ensuring that every dollar is helping local kids.

“When they come out here [to IHOP] and they give that little donation, they are providing world-class care to Arizona’s sickest kids,” said Susan O’Donnell of Children’s Miracle Network.

You can take part in the celebration/fundraiser at any IHOP location. The restaurants will be open until 10 p.m.
