TUCSON, Ariz. -- She beat out thousands of people in one of America's biggest singing competitions, but Thursday night one Tucsonans dream came to an end on American Idol.
Judges told 21-year-old Brittany Mazur that she wouldn't be moving on into the competition's top 24.
Brittany's a dance teacher at at kids unlimited in Tucson. Her students watched the show from their studio.
"I'm really proud of how far she got and I still think she would have been the best American Idol out of all of them," said dance student Chelsea Hoel. "We were sad, but she'll always be our American Idol and she was really good," said dance student Lindsay Hoel.
