Man accused of shooting at victim's car following bar fight

CHANDLER, Ariz. – A man was arrested for allegedly firing several rounds at the victim’s car following an altercation in Chandler.

Police said Francisco Valencia, 22, got into an altercation inside Iguana Mack’s on Friday at around 2 a.m.

The fight moved out to the parking lot where Valencia allegedly pointing a gun at the victim.

The victim and a friend got into a vehicle and started to drive away when the suspect reportedly fired shots at the car and then later fired several more rounds at the victim’s car while driving through Chandler.

Police said Valencia was later located and taken into custody in Chandler where officers found a firearm that was allegedly used in the shooting.

The suspect is being held at a Maricopa County jail and faces two counts of aggravated assault.
