TUCSON, Ariz. -- University of Arizona researchers, looking at how tuition hikes and budget cuts have put the squeeze on hundreds U of A students.
The study began surveying U of A students in 2008. Its goal is to better understand financial behaviors and how they may change over the course of students' lives and their careers.
"Parents are the number one factors in promoting the financial behaviors of their children. And it doesn't stop when their children turn 18 and go to college," said Assistant Research Professor Joyce Serdio, Ph. D.
The study will continue to look at student financial behaviors over the course of 20 years.
