PHOENIX (AP) -- Channing Frye scored six of his 20 points in the final four minutes and the Phoenix Suns pulled away from the short-handed Atlanta Hawks for a 105-97 victory on Wednesday night.
Jared Dudley went 4 for 5 from 3-point range and finished with 17 points for Phoenix. Steve Nash scored all 13 of his points in the second half and had 10 assists, but also finished with seven turnovers.
Josh Smith scored 26 for the Hawks, who trailed by as many as 18 in the first half but rallied to tie it at 92 with five minutes left.
Before the game, the Hawks announced they had traded Mike Bibby, Maurice Evans, Jordan Crawford and a draft pick to the Washington Wizards for Kirk Hinrich and Hilton Armstrong.
