Mostly sunny and 65 today, rain and snow heading our wayPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – The storm we’ve been watching for the past several days could be arriving in Arizona a little sooner than we originally anticipated.
It looks like could see rain in the Valley Saturday evening and then continuing throughout the day Sunday.
Plan on a high of 65 degrees today under mostly sunny skies. The overnight low will be 46 under partly cloudy skies.
It will be a bit warmer on Friday – 69 degrees – but we’ll also see some more clouds.
Come Saturday, our weather will begin to rock and roll.
While Saturday will top out in the upper 60s, Sunday probably won’t warm up beyond the low 50s as some very cold air moves through Arizona.
Rain is very likely during the overnight hours Saturday into Sunday. Sunday’s cold temperatures will continue with an overnight low in the upper 30s in the city, which could mean upper 20s in some of the outlying areas.
The storm should clear out by Monday, leaving us free and clear to return to the mid-70s by Wednesday.
