Reid Park duck in need of rescue

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Wildlife groups are trying to locate a duck at Reid Park seen with netting around its head.

Photographer Lois Manowitz was taking pictures at the north pond last week when she spotted the Grebe that was entangled in garbage.

The Reid Park zoo and the Tucson Wildlife Center got involved in an effort to catch the duck so they could free it from trash, but the Grebe kept escaping by diving into the water.

The bird hasn't been seen in a couple days, but if you spot it, you are urged to call the Tucson Wildlife Center.
