Celebration for Egypt in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Egyptians in Tucson celebrated the freedom of their country Sunday night.

A couple hundred people gathered at the Luxor cafe to celebrate the fall of president Hosni Mubarak's regime.

Widespread protesting of Mubarak began late last month and continued until his resignation on February 11.

"We are sharing our joy and happiness about the freedom finally, the freedom of the people of Egypt," Fayez Swailem.

And most businesses are carrying on as usual in Egypt, after many shut down during the protests.

The government estimates the country lost about $1.7 billion in revenue in that time, much of it due to lack of tourism.
