Arizona anti-bullying bill introducedPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX, Ariz. -- A bill aimed at preventing school bullying in Arizona was introduced Thursday.
HB 2415 is the newest measure trying to crack down on bullies in schools, but don't expect to see a lot of changes. The bill is expected to help clarify safety measures for educators and school administrators.
"But the expectation is that the teachers that become aware, and that's the key, become aware of a situation report it in a timely matter so its more to talk about the clarification of the responsibility less about the punishment."
Mr. Morrow also pointed out, since bullying is more subjective, it will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
