Tucson Rodeo Parade facing transportation problems

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The rodeo is right around corner and already, it's facing some problems

The Sun Tran shuttle service the rodeo uses for it's parade next Thursday is not happening this year.

Organizers say the shuttle carried about 3500 people to and from the parade last year.  Without those shuttles and people in the stands, the rodeo could lose money.

"So if we lose 35 hundred seats at $7 a seat, we're losing a great deal of money," said Bob Steward from the Rodeo Parade Committee.

In the past the shuttles ran from Park and Tucson malls.  The rodeo committee looked into provide their own shuttle service, but they don't have the money for it.
