PHOENIX -- A storm is moving into Arizona, bringing snow to the mountains and rain to the Valley this weekend.

It's going to be a little cooler and partly cloudy in the Phoenix area Thursday with an expected high of 69 degrees.

3TV's April Warnecke says rain is on the way with showers expected off and on throughout the weekend.

There is a chance of rain on Friday night with a daytime high of 70 degrees. Saturday's temperature should reach about 67 degrees with Sunday much cooler, topping out at 58 degrees.

Parts of Maricopa County could get up to about an inch of rain over the weekend.

The clouds will remain through the beginning of next week with temperatures in the low 60s.

The Flagstaff area could get about a foot of snow by 10 p.m. Saturday.
