Missing 10-year-old Kingman girl found safePosted: Updated:
KINGMAN, Ariz. – A 10-year-old girl missing since Saturday afternoon has been found safe.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office says they located Trinity Gilbert-Flores in a neighbor's house Tuesday just before 5 p.m.
She was last seen at her home by neighbors at about 1 p.m. Saturday. Trinity lives in the area of John L Avenue and Bond Street. Her neighbors had been checking on the 10-year-old throughout the day.
When Trinity’s father got home at about 6 p.m., Trinity was gone. While it's not known if Trinity has a history of running away, Michael Flores said he believes his daughter might have left of her own accord. He said the family’s three dogs are quite protective and would have raised a ruckus if a stranger had come into their yard.
Concern escalated when Trinity did not show up for school on Monday.
