American Indian expo anchors Tucson gem showPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Tucson Gem and Mineral show wrapped up this weekend and a lot of families decided to catch one last peek at all the fine goods.
The American Indian expo featured traditional crafts from more than 400 tribes. They showcased a lot of jewelry, pottery, beadwork, baskets and even some food.
"This is the only place where people that want to buy authentic Native-American arts and crafts can come here and are insured that that's what they're getting,"
The American Indian expo is one of the few shows that continues through Monday. It runs from 10 to 5 P.M.
