Police hoping public can identify bank robber

PHOENIX - Police are looking for a bank robbery suspect who fled with an unknown amount of money.

On Thursday, an Hispanic male in his 30s entered a bank in the area of 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road and approached the teller demanding money.

The suspect was given the money and he fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

No vehicle was seen.

The suspect is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches, 140-150 pounds with a thin build, acne scars on cheeks, short black hair, thin mustache and a large vertical scar on the right side of his head.

He was last seen wearing a red short sleeve shirt with a black long sleeve shirt underneath and black jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish.

There is a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of the suspect.
