TUCSON, Ariz. -- A memorial honor coming for the late Judge John Roll, Arizona's chief federal judge killed in last month's shooting spree.
Wednesday, the U.S. House voted unanimously to name the federal courthouse in Yuma after him.
Roll died while trying to save the life of Ron Barber one of Congresswoman Giffords' staffers wounded in the tragedy.
"On behalf of the Arizonans, we thank this house for naming the courthouse in Yuma, Arizona in honor of Judge Roll and may he rest in peace," said Representative Ed Pastor.
Arizona Senators John McCain and Jon Kyl are helping getting the move approved in the senate.
Judge roll is survived by his wife of more than 40 years, three sons, and grandchildren.
