CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – A man wanted for alleged sexual assault was taken into custody Friday morning after Pinal County authorities received an anonymous tip.

Pinal County sheriff's deputies received a call Monday afternoon reporting a sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in Casa Grande.

Deputies responded to the Casa Grande West community, an unincorporated area of Pinal County, where they discovered Juan Carlos Cuadros-Ortiz, 25, had allegedly sexually assaulted the victim.

Police say that when Ortiz was confronted by the victim’s family, he fled with his 21-year-old girlfriend, Brenda Ramirez, and their 8-month-old son.

After further investigation, deputies determined the girlfriend had been a victim of an unreported domestic violence incident involving the suspect.

Friday morning, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous tip from a citizen who had information about Ortiz's whereabouts. Ortiz was located at Highway 84 and Burris Road in Casa Grande and was taken into custody without incident.
