One month after tragic Tucson shooting

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tuesday marked one month since the violent shooting rampage at a Tucson shopping center.

Nineteen people were hit, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, during her "Congress on Your Corner" meeting January 8 before witnesses stopped the shooter.

Six people died including 9-year-old Christina Green, Federal Judge John Roll and Giffords' staffer Gabe Zimmerman.

Pima County sheriff's deputies arrested former Mountain View High and Pima Community college student jared loughner.  Who now faces attempted assassination and attempted murder counts with more federal and state charges pending.

Despite being shot point blank in the head, Congresswoman Giffords survived and now is in a rehab hospital in Houston, Texas.

Tuesday we got a first look inside Congresswoman Giffords' Houston hospital room.

Giffords husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, Provided pictures showing photos of loved ones, mementos from arizona,  and other inspiration.

Kelly writes that her doctors continue to see encouraging signs including a return of her appetite.
