Tucson massacre: One month later

TUCSON, Ariz. -- One month ago today, a gunman opened fire on Rep. Gabrielle Giffords "Congress on your Corner" event outside a Tucson Safeway, killing six people and injuring 13 more, including the congresswoman.

Javier Soto gave us a look at how the community is recovering.

Giffords continues her remarkable recovery and rehabilitation at a facility in Houston, Texas.

The suspected shooter, Jared Loughner, remains in federal custody. While he does face federal charges, state charges are still pending.

Youngest victim still touching hearts

A patch honoring the youngest victim of the shooting, Christina-Taylor Green, has become a nationwide sensation.

Christina was the only girl on her Little League team. To commemorate her life, the Canyon del Oro Little League created the patch. For each one sold, it will contribute $1 to Christina-Taylor Green Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.

The league has already sold more than 5,000 patches, and that number could quickly double with a potential order of 7,000 from a league in California.
