High of 71 today, cloudy with slight chance of rain tomorrowPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Plan on a high of 71 degrees under mostly sunny skies Monday, which is just one degree above the average for this time of year.
After a cold snap that froze fountains throughout the Valley last weekend, we're looking at much nicer weather in the days ahead.
A storm front is pushing down from the northwest is going to give us some cloud cover, some wind and a slight chance of rain in the Valley tomorrow. More likely than rain in the Phoenix-Metro area is snow in the high country.
The front will leave behind some cooler temperature Wednesday and Thursday -- 66 and 68 respectively. After that, we should bounce back up to the 70s just in time for the weekend.
