Tucson gem show continuesPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Old Pueblo Gem and Mineral show continued this weekend at the Riverpark Inn, off the freeway.
If you haven't gone yet, you still have a week for most of the 40 shows around town.
The bargains on finished jewelry are all found in the hotels nestled among interstate 10, and you can find almost any type of jewelry you'd like.
"We have exhibitors that have crystals such as that behind us, large amethyst specimens, high end jewelry and, ah, ethnic jewelry,"
The vendors at the hotels can be found in lobbies, their hotel rooms and courtyards. The main show at the Convention Center begins Feb. 10.
