Treaty of Guadalupe exhibit coming to TucsonPosted: Updated:
History will meet the present when the Treaty of Guadalupe arrives in Tucson for a special exhibit.
The treaty is a peace treaty that ended the Mexican-American war in the 1840s.
It's more than a century old, but scholars say the living pact sheds light on the immigration debate.
The treaty will be on display at the Arizona State Museum starting Wednesday to mark the anniversary of its signing. The public can view it on Thursday through the end of the month.
