In Mexico, federal marshals capture a fugitive who fled there after an alleged crime spree in southern Arizona.

Jesus Mendivil, 25, a U.S. citizen, was arrested at a home in Sonora, Mexico and turned over to U.S. authorities.

Police say Mendivil was wanted on charges from a shootout in 2009 that was connected to a home invasion west of Tucson.

Part of a Tucson correctional facility went up in flames Sunday afternoon, after a fire started inside a cell.

It happened at a building on South Wilmot Street.

The report claims the blaze started inside the cell and quickly got out of control.

The area was evacuated and units were finally able to get the fire under control.

A possible bomb threat sets off a scare at a local fast-food restaurant Sunday afternoon.

It happened at around 2 O'Clock at the Wendy's on Oracle near Roger Road.

Emergency crews evacuated the fast food joint, but the scene cleared within an hour after local units learned there wasn't any danger.
