Rain in the forecast, cool-down on Tuesday with high of 48Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX – There’s a chance of rain in the Valley and snow in the high country today. Those storm clouds should clear out by tonight.
But there’s something behind that front that’s coming our way – some extremely cold air.
Plan on a high of 64 degrees today and 60 tomorrow. That’s a full 10 degrees below the lovely days we’ve been enjoying lately.
Wednesday looks to be the coldest day of the week – cold and windy. Right now, we’re looking at a high of 49 degrees Wednesday. Overnight lows will drop to the lows 30s in town, 20s in the outlying areas.
That cooler weather will linger through the second half of your work week, with highs in the low 50s on Thursday and the high 50s on Friday.
By the weekend, and the major rounds of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, it looks like our highs will be in the low to mid 60s.
