AHS Pet of the Week - Boss

Boss takes the job of being “mans best friend” very seriously and the 8-Month-old Pit bull terrier is working hard to find a new forever home.

With a “can do” attitude Boss is ready to tackle every assignment giving to him and this enthusiastic canine is willing to “to the extra mile” on a long walk. This happy dog wears an ear to ear smile on his face while he races around the yard with a rope toy in tow. He is always up for a challenge and he will eagerly work on extra projects such as a Kong toy for hours on end. He is already leash and housetrained but he has only mastered the “sit” command and will need a patient overseer to teach him more advanced tricks. He is eager to learn new skills in order to be the best dog ever.

After a long day on the job, Boss likes to kick up his paws and watch TV upside down with all four paws in the air while lying on his cozy dog bed. When he finally falls into a deep sleep often times he will snore.

He would do best in a home with older children and a family meet and greet is required. He insists on being the only four-legged supervisor in the house and must be the only dog.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is $110. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash with an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
