Man killed, 2 teens injured in two-car wreck in PhoenixPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX - A 23-year-old man was killed after a two-car wreck in Phoenix Saturday afternoon.
The crash took place at around 4 p.m. near 35th Avenue just north of Thunderbird Road.
Police said Strahinja Jankovic had just pulled out of a private driveway just north of Thunderbird. He then turned northbound but stayed in the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a car carrying two 17-year-old females.
The two girls were rushed to a local hospital and are listed in stable condition. Jankovic died as a result of his injuries.
Impairment is believed to be a factor in this fatal crash.
