TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Jazmine Perkins scored 16 points, including a key 3-pointer late, to lead Washington State to a 70-65 win over Arizona State on Thursday.
Dymond Simon had 19 points and Tenaya Watson had 14 points, five assists and three steals for Arizona State, which has lost three of four.
The Sun Devils (11-5, 3-3 Pac-10) rallied from a 55-46 deficit with 7:51 left to come within 60-58 with 1:36 remaining on Alex Earl's 3-pointer. But Perkins made the fourth of her 3-pointers with 1:15 left to put the Cougars up 63-58.
Watson hit two free throws to cut it to 66-63. But Sage Romberg sank three of four free throws in the final 32 seconds for Washington State (5-14, 3-4).
Ireti Amojo hit four 3-pointers, scoring 16 points with three assists and two steals, for Washington State, which has won three of its last four after losing seven in a row.
