PHOENIX - The Phoenix Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a suspect for sexual exploitation of a minor.

The task force identified a residence that was trading images and videos of young children ages five to 10 being sexually abused.

Surveillance led detectives to a home in north Phoenix which they confirmed to be the home of Ronald Fritz and the source of the unlawful images being traded on the Internet.

On Thursday, a search warrant was served on Fritz's home. Fritz, 56, is an unemployed registered sex offender.

After his arrest, Fritz admitted he committed the crime and told detectives he traveled to Las Vegas, Florida and Brazil.

Additional search warrants led to additional images of yet unidentified children.

Fritz faces 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of failure to register as a sex offender.

The Phoenix Police Department is asking anyone with additional information to please call them at 602-650-3313.
