The Tucson Police Department is asking for help locating a homicide suspect.
At approximately 10:15 p.m. on January 2, 2011, the Tucson Police Department received a 911 call reporting shots heard in the 300 block of west Kentucky Street. Officers from Operations Division South responded and located a male suffering from apparent gunshot trauma in the roadway in the 400 block of west Kentucky Street. Officers administered CPR until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim succumbed to his injuries a short time later. The victim in this case has been identified as 27-year old Hector Sotelo Jr., of Tucson. Next of kin have been notified.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 88-CRIME.
