Robbery suspect on the loose in Casa Grande

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. - Police are looking for a robbery suspect who used a soft air gun to steal from a Casa Grande woman.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, police received a 911 call stating he heard a woman screaming for help in the 500 block of West 10th Street.

When police arrived, they located a 57-year-old woman who told police she was shot in the head and robbed.

The investigation revealed the victim was shot with some type of soft air gun and she was treated on scene for a small cut to her head.

The victim said an unknown male approached her outside of her home and demanded money. When she told him she did not have any, he shot her three times with soft pellets.

She alleged the suspect pushed her down and kicked her several times, forcing her into her home where the suspect took her wallet containing credit cards, $7 and her watch.

The suspect then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing jeans, a plaid shirt, a heavy dark-colored jacket, boots and a blue beanie cap.
