Volunteers offer counseling after Tucson shootingPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. --Many people in Tucson have been affected by the Tucson shooting and are looking for ways to help.
The folks at the Tucson Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy are doing just that, helping out.
They're offering free support groups for those needing someone to talk to after the tragedy.
"Both personally and professionally we were deeply moved and saddened by the shooting on January 8, the therapists are all volunteering their time to provide support to people who want to come," said Lauren Levy, Co-Director Tucson Center for Counseling & Psychotherapy.
There are five free support groups, all of them on Saturday. They start on January 29 and run through February 26.
