TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- The daughter of a wounded aide of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords says her father has left the hospital and planned to attend the funeral of a federal judge killed in the Tucson attack.

Jenny Douglas told reporters in Tucson that 65-year-old Ron Barber was able to take a few steps with his walker before leaving the hospital early Friday.

Barber was shot in the leg, face and neck area during the Saturday shooting rampage that wounded 12 others -- including Giffords -- and killed six people, including U.S. District Judge John Roll, whose funeral was Friday.

Barber has worked for the third-term Democrat ever since she went to Washington.
