Family of youngest shooting vicitm receives call from the PresidentPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The parents of Christina Green, the youngest victim in Saturday's shooting, say they are leaning on family and friends during this difficult time.
John and Roxanna Green say the support they've gotten from the community and country has been amazing.
They say they even received a personal phone call from the President.
"He just wanted to express his deepest sympathies and condolences. And he was positive, said, 'you're going to get through this. We're all going to be there for you.' It was amazing, one of the best phone calls I ever got," said Roxanna Green.
Christina was just 9-years-old. Her parents say she was a straight-A student who was interested in government and politics.
