TUCSON, Ariz. -- Of the twenty people shot Saturday, six died. The youngest was 9-year-old Christina Green, who's interest in politics prompted her to attend the "Congress on your Corner" event.

Born on September 11, 2001, and according to her parents, well aware of her birthday's significance.  Christina was very patriotic and loved wearing red, white and blue.

Christina had just been elected to her elementary school's student council and was at congresswoman's Giffords' event to learn more about serving in government.

"She was a great friend, a great sister, a great daughter," said Christina's mother Roxanna Green.  "I was so proud of her. And I just want, I want to know, and I think a lot of people that know us and knew Christina Taylor, that we got robbed.  She got robbed of a beautiful life that she could have had."

Christina also leaves behind an older brother and her grandfather, Dallas Green, a former major league pitcher and manager.
