Learning more about shooting suspect Jared Loughner

TUCSON, Ariz. --The shooter is now accused of federal charges including murder, attempted murder and attempting to kill a member of congress.

A former classmate of Loughner, Caitie Parker, began tweeting Saturday about Loughner, saying, "the guy i knew three years ago was not the evil he became today."

Parker claimed to have also been in a band with the suspect, but said he became "reclusive" after a bout with alcohol poisoning and dropping out of college.

Loughner would begin his on-line rantings about the literacy rate within Arizona, as well as anti-government sentiments. According to Radar-Online, a post on his Myspace page not long before the tragedy said, "WOW! I'm glad i didn't kill myself. I'll see you on National T.V.! This is foreshadow .... why doesn't anyone talk to me?.."

Another post read, "I don't feel good: I'm ready to kill a police officer! I can say it."

A final point mentioned by Parker was that Loughner met Giffords before, and he described the congresswoman as, "stupid and unintelligent."
